Wacky Hair Day
Dreadlocks, mohawks, green, yellow, purple and blue hair!
What’s going on!!??
T.I.S have recently had a wacky hair day to fundraise for the S.P.C.A.. Children could come to school with the wackiest hair ever just for the price of a gold coin.
Children came to school with all manner of hairstyles including classic “hot-rod” mohawks (mohawks sticking about 10cm up and all slicked forward so the hair is curvy. They are usually dyed red for a flaming look.) Even some teachers played the good sport and sported a “do” to school. Back to the 50’s now. Everywhere in our school was mussed-up hair dyed wildly in a whirl of colours! Colour, colour everywhere! Some kids were wilder than others by adding the extra craziness, such as attaching pegs or lollipops to their hair. There was every style apart from the boring old normal.

Hi, we had waky hair day as well, but ours didn’t turn out as fun as yours sounds, only two people (at least thats what I thought anyway) had really waky hair.

Hi. I’m Jayden from Room 3, Te Awamutu Intermediate. Rhiannon3 is also part of the same classroom. We’ve had a wacky hair day, but it was a theme for a mufti day we have. Not everyone got into the spirit but one boy in our class, arrived with the front of his hair completely shaved!! Wacky hair day at your school is really WACKY!!
